Living Our Values on Mandela Day: A Klipboard SA Snapshot

At Klipboard, We Care isn’t just a value – it’s something we live out together. Each year on 18 July, our teams across South Africa honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy by dedicating 67 minutes (and more) to causes that uplift our communities.

This Mandela Day, our Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, and Durban teams rolled up their sleeves and made a real difference – supporting NGOs that care for the vulnerable, the elderly, children, animals, and those with special needs

Our team visited two local organisations:

  • Little Angels Home - a dedicated care home for children and young adults with severe mental and physical challenges
  • Gabriella Centre - a non-profit that provides full-time care for individuals with profound physical and intellectual disabilities.

We delivered care packages, essentials, and spent meaningful time engaging with caregivers and learning about the residents.

In JHB, we supported Forest Farm – a caring home for adults living with intellectual disabilities. Our team donated vital everyday items and shared in moments of connection, care, and compassion.

In Durban, we divided our 67 minutes between two powerful causes:

Essential goods were delivered to both, helping lighten the load for these hardworking organisations.

Why It Matters

Mandela Day reminds us that small actions lead to big change – and that our shared humanity is our greatest strength. It’s also a reminder that caring isn’t something we do once a year. It’s built into who we are.

At Klipboard, We Care is a daily commitment – to our communities, our colleagues, and our customers.
