For our customers it has meant reducing the volume of calls needed for status updates. What would have taken 5 different conversations with 4 different members of the team, now we can answer a customers query in real time through 1 call.

We have visibility into which drop-offs have been made while the driver is on the road, providing much clearer information to our customers.
Traditionally, our chain of information would come from the customer to co-ordinator;sales executive to driver;sharing back to the sales executive to co-ordinator, and eventually back to the customer but with ePOD, it allows for the real-time information to be given on the spot to the customer from the sales executive/co-ordinator.
For our drivers, ePOD is highly intuitive and easy to use, which meant our teams were up and running within the day of implementing ePOD in our business. They have been able to reduce errors on the final mile of inputting data back on site, build confidence in their manifest and customer experience through the ability to take photos of delivery, take eSignatures on handovers and time stamp each drop.
For the business, this has in turn helped auditing and tracking by continually providing greater clarity for the customer.
For each of our drivers, at the end of each delivery 'cycle', they would manually add the information into the terminal back on site. Times would be recorded manually to paper, then entered into Driversboard on site. At times reading some of the information would be challenging, as well as the terminal on site not being easy to use, unforced errors would occur and we couldn't always fully trust our data. That has now gone.
We're looking forward to completing the implementation across all of our branches. Making the biggest impact with our largest sites first and seeing the instant value we're pushing forward with the roll-out. We're looking forward to exploring the other parts of the Klipboard portfolio to help us digitise and streamline our business processes for the future.
ePOD from Klipboard has also helped us with the overarching goal of digital change management, not just for our operations but for our teams. It ran like clockwork.
