Mazzanna Tiles are a wholesale tile supplier who also offer bespoke bathroom and kitchen design services. They serve both trade professionals and the public, providing everything from internal and external tiles to adhesives, grout, tools, and trims. Despite steady growth and a loyal trade following, the business faced operational inefficiencies between the multiple systems they were using to run their business.

The challenge:

Mazzanna Tiles previously managed customer and sales accounts on Sage with a Bit Systems barcode integration, while their e-commerce function ran separately on Shopify. Unfortunately, these siloed systems struggled to communicate effectively with one another. Each sale had to be re-entered across multiple platforms, adding to their team's admin workload and increasing the risk of errors.

We were double- and triple-handing everything. It cost us a lot of time and money and meant we were unable to be as efficient as we’d like. The systems weren’t built for a tile shop and made our processes more long-winded than they needed to be, so we were tailoring ourselves to the systems instead of the systems working for us.

The disconnect between stock management, sales processing, and accounts meant that processes were long-winded and at risk of errors. Even with the addition of handheld barcode scanners, the lack of integration left staff duplicating effort across multiple platforms.

The solution:

Mazzanna Tiles turned to Klipboard ERP Go, an integrated solution that connects accounts, stock management, sales, and customer service into one system. Unlike their old setup, ERP Go allowed every part of the business to connect effortlessly, giving them visibility and control of their organisation.

Instead of moving data from Shopify to Sage to Bit Systems – and back again – with ERP Go, everything now goes through a single platform with APIs that connect directly to their Shopify website. Sales, stock, invoicing, and customer information are captured once and automatically updated across the system, whether the sales come from the website, in branch, or over the phone.

Klipboard’s integrated mobile apps (ePod, ePick, and eStockCheck) were of particular interest to Mazzanna Tiles. They gave their staff the ability to scan products, manage batches, and pick orders on the go, with updates instantly reflected in their ERP Go platform. This means no more writing things down, going back to a computer, and keying them in manually.

It’s a massive improvement! Everything is under one hub. We can pick it on one system, it’s there, and we’re not going back and forth updating three different platforms. We were after simplicity and greater efficiency, and that’s what we’ve got.

ERP Go also brought improvements to stock management, order picking, and staff oversight. Instead of relying on spreadsheets that could be easily overwritten or outdated, the system now provides a single, reliable source of truth for stock across multiple warehouses.

The outcome:

Although the full implementation is still in progress, Mazzanna Tiles are already seeing the benefits of ERP Go. The team has been impressed by how tailored the platform feels to their needs, how much simpler processes and internal workflows appear, and how supportive the onboarding experience has been.

From the outcomes of the early testing phase, ERP Go will be deployed by Mazzanna Tiles to deliver:
